The Taj Mahal referred to as one of the wonders of the world, celebrated for its architectural magnificence aesthetic beauty, it was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz as a place to enshrine her remains. Its now stands testimony to Mughal ingenuity and architecture. Constructed in white marbles, it took around 22 years and around 20,000 workers and craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy to complete it. Its walls are decorated with exquisite stone inlay work with different type of semi-precious stones.

After lunch discover Agra fort, one of the few Forts in the world, have a more fascinating story to tell than that of Agra. Originally planned as fortified palace became an impregnable military structure, the Fort acquired all the allegiance, lavishes and majesty of imperial palace. Situated 3 km upstream of the Taj Mahal and right bank of river Yamuna. It took 8 years to complete it. Within the fort are the Khas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Angoori Bagh.  From the rare of Diwan-e-Khas a door leads to two-story pavilion where Shah Jahan was exile by his son from where he got the last glimpses of Taj Mahal before his demise.

Before leaving to railway station if time permits visit the local craftsmen and enjoy  the local art of Zari embroidery.
